In June Russia pointed out to America that simulating strikes on Russian territory along the Russian border was needlessly aggressive.
NATO doubled down on the provocations with US-led military exercises planned in 5 countries for this month.
This comes on top of the US airforce buzzing the Russian military base in the Black Sea in a similar style to that seen in the South China Sea.
